Six further Grants in the First Half of 2022

We have been pleased to continue to receive applications from a number of worthwhile causes during 2022 and have been been delighted to make the following grants:

• A grant of £2,180 to the WATER LILY PROJECT towards the provision of hot dinners, food and hygiene certificates and safeguarding and first aid needs

• A grant of £4,500 to the CHRISTCHURCH FOODBANK AND HOME EQUIPMENT PROJECT to provide furniture, white goods and home equipment packs to individuals and families in need

• A grant of £1,500 to the CHRISTCHURCH CARNIVAL to help fund the community carnival and parade in August 2022

• A grant of £4,132 to HELPING YOUNG MINDS to provide a number of courses and activities to provide help and support to young people aged 14 – 18 in Christchurch

• A grant of £2,500 to YOUR PLANET DOCTORS to enable them to provide training and support to teachers and parent volunteers and to assist in the setting up of after school clubs to make good use of the sensory and vegetable garden created with an earlier grant made to the Parent’s Association at Christchurch Infants School

• A grant of £4,478 to the FRIENDS OF TWYNHAM SCHOOL to enable them to create a specially designed garden area next to the school’s Special Educations Needs facility for the use of the pupils
